THE TURTLE
Torcuato is a humanized turtle with 71% animal DNA and 29% human DNA. He is 46 years old and lives with his three cats in a country house in Cartagena, a city located in the south of Spain, in the region of Murcia. He has a degree in economics and business administration and has been working for the state as a tax inspector since he was 25.
He is quite asocial and tries to interact with as few people as possible in his daily life. He is reserved and shy; some even think he is rude or abrasive, but nothing could be further from the truth. Although he is serious and curt with strangers, he is friendly and kind to his few true friends.
Torcuato is somewhat finicky; he is not passionate about children and dislikes people who speak loudly or those who think they know everything. He also suffers from trypophobia and gets nervous around odd numbers, the sound of chewing, repetitive sounds, or basically any sound that comes from a human. He can’t stand pink-colored foods, low ceilings, and a few other things.
Torcuato is an avid fan of true crime. He knows all the high-profile crime cases, both in Spain and internationally. He has watched all the documentaries and series on every platform and is the founder and president of “Hemoglobin,” a community dedicated to discussing, investigating, and disseminating everything related to this topic. In fact, it is in these forums where he opens up, expresses himself, and chats endlessly, and where he finds relief from his monotonous life as a tax officer.
Another of his great hobbies is writing noir stories, and his biggest dream is to compile all these stories and have a publisher release his first book.
Torcuato has never had a partner and is not interested in romantic or sexual relationships; he prefers to spend his time, money, and efforts on other causes, such as volunteering at a local animal sanctuary or caring for and feeding the two colonies of stray cats he looks after. He says the affection he gets from the cats has never been matched by any human or hybrid.
Torcuato may be a bit peculiar, but he is undoubtedly one of the most genuine and endearing beings around!
